Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Rebuild Focus) | $60,000–$90,000/year
Are you a hands-on mechanic who enjoys tearing down engines, solving problems, and putting equipment back together better than before? We’re looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with a focus on rebuilds to join our team.
In this role, you won’t just swap parts—you’ll diagnose issues, rebuild critical components, and play a key role in keeping our equipment running strong.
What You’ll Do
Rebuild & Restore: Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild engines, transmissions, gearboxes, and drivetrain components
Diagnose Problems: Identify worn or damaged parts using precision measuring tools
Precision Assembly: Reassemble components to meet OEM specifications and cleanliness standards
Test & Verify: Ensure rebuilt components perform properly before returning to service
Support the Shop: Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
What You Bring
Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and related systems
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Proven troubleshooting skills—you can find the root cause, not just the symptom
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a shop environment and handling physically demanding work
